Case Study: The Miami Dolphins achieve decade-long community impact and $8.5M in volunteer value with Rosterfy

A Rosterfy Case Study

Preview of the The Miami Dolphins Case Study

From volunteer program to one of the most impressive community engagement programs worldwide

The Miami Dolphins turned a post–Super Bowl volunteer surge into a permanent community program, Special Teams, but faced the challenge of managing and engaging tens of thousands of volunteers effectively. To modernize communications and operations they partnered with Rosterfy, using its volunteer management platform and Reward & Recognition functionality to centralize sign-ups, communications and incentives beginning with the 2018 Super Bowl.

Rosterfy’s platform enabled automated volunteer portals, point-based gamification and easy tracking/redemption, helping Special Teams to place screened volunteers during COVID-19 and sustain long-term engagement. The program has delivered $8,533,875 in volunteer time over 10 years, with 89,210 volunteers, 334,583 hours (75 million minutes) volunteered and 24,691 unique volunteers, demonstrating measurable community impact powered by Rosterfy.
