Expo 2020 Dubai Chooses Rosterfy To Manage And Engage Workforce

Expo 2020 Dubai appointed Rosterfy to manage and engage its huge on-site workforce for the World Expo, which required recruiting 30,000 volunteers across 1.2 million shifts during the six-month event. Faced with a highly diverse talent pool (over 200 nationalities) and the need to build a mobilisable volunteer legacy, Expo 2020 Dubai selected Rosterfy’s global event workforce management platform to run its volunteer programme and overall workforce delivery.

Rosterfy implemented its platform for recruitment, screening, role-matching, training and ongoing engagement, giving volunteers a web and mobile portal to view shifts and updates. As a result, Rosterfy enabled the scalable management of 30,000 volunteers and 1.2 million shifts for an event expected to welcome 25 million visitors (70% from outside the UAE), improving operational efficiency and volunteer engagement while supporting Expo 2020 Dubai’s legacy goals.
