A roommaster Case Study

Making State Park Management Easy

West Virginia State Parks, which manages eight state park lodges as part of a system that includes 10 resorts, more than 350 cabins and 1,500 campsites, needed an easy-to-learn, reliable property management system that would centralize reporting and reduce training time for remote, complex properties. After evaluating options, the parks selected roommaster’s roomMaster PMS for its reliability, analytics and reporting capabilities.

roommaster implemented roomMaster beginning at Twin Falls State Park and rolled the system out to all eight lodges with on-site installation and training (about three to four weeks per park), then added integrated modules for OTA connectivity, messaging, CRM and POS. The unified roommaster deployment delivered consistent processes across lodges, faster employee onboarding, minimal support follow-ups, centralized data and accurate reports that enabled analysis of occupancy, forecasts and RevPAR and helped increase occupancy via online channels.
