A Rival Technologies Case Study
REVOLT, a premium music cable network focused on Hip-Hop and Black culture, wanted to understand the attendee experience in real time during its first-ever REVOLT Summit in Atlanta. The team needed feedback that matched its brand voice, rather than relying on traditional CX surveys, and wanted insights that could inform future events.
Rival Technologies worked with REVOLT to launch six conversational surveys, or chats, during the Summit, with many attendees recruited onsite via QR codes. The approach captured both qualitative and quantitative feedback and delivered strong results: over 500 photos and selfie videos were submitted, completion reached 85% across five chats, and 620 attendees were recruited in just a few days. The study found that 89% of attendees had a very positive reaction, 98% said they would likely attend again, and 89% felt the event represented Atlanta culture well, helping REVOLT improve future events and later launch its insight community, REVOLT Nation, on the Rival platform.
