Suncorp Group, a finance organization with 13,400 employees across 250 locations, faced inconsistent reward and recognition programs across 11 business units while rolling out its new "One Suncorp" model. To embed its mission, purpose and values and bring teams together, Suncorp selected Reward Gateway for an adaptable employee engagement platform offering recognition, communications and discounts that could unify programs without losing useful local nuances.

Reward Gateway worked with Suncorp Group and a steering committee to launch Shine, a single, peer-to-peer recognition program with eCards, nominations and awards tied to company values. The Reward Gateway solution drove strong engagement—about 76,000 eCards sent each year and roughly 200 award nominations per month—and Shine is now a key part of Suncorp’s employee value proposition, recruitment messaging and leadership communications.
