Missguided partnered with Reward Gateway to help define and embed new company values—branded internally as “Vibes”—by using Reward Gateway’s employee engagement and internal communications platform (surveys, engagement tools and communications). The challenge was to build values from the ground up rather than the boardroom: invite honest feedback from a largely young, retail workforce, ensure broad participation across teams, and create behaviours everyone could buy into as the business scaled.

Reward Gateway supported a phased, employee-led programme — from “Holla at Us” listening events to a Vibe Tribe of ambassadors and week-long “Vibe Weeks” activities and surveys — to gather and amplify staff voices. The initiative generated 2,925 pieces of research, achieved 97% employee engagement with the research and communications, and produced four clear Vibes (Love Lots, Believe Always, Dream Big, Win Together), helping Missguided connect employees to the company vision more effectively than a top-down approach.
