Re-launch of a platform with new logo and communications engages 81% of workforce

Nexus, a 600-employee transportation company, faced the challenge of engaging a diverse workforce—on-site support and customer service teams alongside largely off-site, older, male engineers, maintenance and project managers who respond to different communication channels. To refresh interest ahead of a relaunch, Nexus partnered with Reward Gateway and its employee engagement platform, Nexus Extras.

Reward Gateway supported a September 2014 relaunch featuring a new logo, targeted communications (posters, emails and home flyers), a temporary 6% retailer discount, mobile Instant Vouchers and new eCards, rolled out in a three-week staggered campaign. The relaunch drove 81% employee engagement, increased transactions and spend approaching $1.3M, delivered roughly $65K in ROI and produced about $6.5K in savings for Nexus and its employees.
