Montrose County School District, a 750-employee education organization serving 5,000 students in western Colorado, wanted to make its wellbeing programs easier for staff to use. The district had an active wellness strategy, but its fitness challenges were not simple enough to support the participation levels leadership wanted.
Reward Gateway | Edenred moved the district’s wellbeing challenges onto its new employee wellbeing system, Wellbeing+, giving staff group and individual chats, wearable device tracking, monthly step goals, and both template-based and custom challenges. In the most recent school year, MCSD ran five challenges that drew 350 staff members, or 47% of employees, and 57% of participants reached their monthly step goals. The team logged more than 447 million collective steps and 574 friendship connections.
