PYBAR Mining Services, one of Australia’s largest underground hard rock mining contractors with 800+ employees across 36 sites, struggled with limited top‑down communication and slow, cumbersome recognition for a largely offline, geographically dispersed workforce. To solve this, PYBAR engaged Reward Gateway and its customizable communications, recognition and rewards and benefits platform, launching a branded hub called PYBAR Perks.
Reward Gateway’s Implementation Team and PYBAR’s marketing and HR teams built PYBAR Perks with a branded homepage, eCards, app access, SMS/newsletter integration, social recognition wall and instant award redemption. The program delivered rapid results: in the first six months employees recorded over 450 recognitions and saved more than $5,000 through discounts, while communication transparency and engagement improved significantly.
