ORBIS Corporation, a global manufacturing organization of 2,900+ employees across 45 locations, faced low recognition scores and the challenge of connecting a dispersed, hybrid workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic. To modernize its approach and maintain a pulse on employee sentiment, ORBIS partnered with Reward Gateway to launch an employee engagement platform, The Loop, combining recognition and survey tools.
Reward Gateway’s solution digitized peer-to-peer and monetary recognition with values-based eCards (including Spanish translations), streamlined service-anniversary rewards and redemption options, and housed continuous employee surveys. Since launch, ORBIS users have sent 5,447 eCards, achieved 54% active daily usage (exceeding their 50% goal), and recorded over 1,000 awards in the past year—driving stronger peer recognition, improved connection across teams, and data-driven cultural improvements.
