Case Study: DHL achieves 90% employee engagement and three Top Employer accreditations with Reward Gateway

A Reward Gateway Case Study

Preview of the DHL Case Study

Logistics company uses all-company sporting event to connect employees globally and receives three Top Employer accreditations in 2017

DHL, a global logistics company with over 4,100 employees across 43 UK locations, partnered with Reward Gateway to boost its “As One” culture through employee engagement initiatives (including Reward Gateway’s employee engagement platform and employee discounts). DHL reintroduced its prestigious EuroCup employee sporting event but faced two challenges: ensuring all employees — including those offline — were aware and eligible to participate, and spreading the excitement of the event to colleagues who could not attend.

Reward Gateway supported DHL’s multi-channel promotion and engagement strategy by enabling communications and platform tools while DHL delivered weekly manager updates, site TVs, emails, a dedicated EuroCup site, social posts, attendee apps and post-event family offers. The campaign drove measurable impact: a 90% employee engagement survey score, a 93% participation rate in company surveys, heightened staff motivation after the event, and recognition with three 2017 Top Employer accreditations (UK, Europe and Global); Reward Gateway’s platform helped amplify these results.
