Case Study: NAHL Group achieves 182% increase in peer-to-peer recognition with Reward Gateway

A Reward Gateway Case Study

Preview of the NAHL Group Case Study

Law group moves from incumbent provider to launch values-based recognition program, resulting in an 182% increase in moments of recognition

NAHL Group, a UK law group operating across four organisations and five locations, needed to move away from an incumbent, financially-driven recognition scheme that didn’t reinforce its new people strategy or company values. To build togetherness and value-led behaviours, NAHL added Reward Gateway’s recognition offering to its SourceIt! platform, replacing incentive-only recognition with a values-focused, peer-driven approach.

Reward Gateway implemented a three-tier recognition program (peer-to-peer eCards, values-tied awards, and top-down instant awards) plus a social recognition “wow wall” to make appreciation visible and easy. The change boosted NAHL’s Employee Value Proposition and measurable engagement: overall engagement rose from 60% to 81%, visits increased 50%, 82% of employees now log in more than five times a month, and peer-to-peer eCards rose 182%. Employee survey metrics also improved substantially (e.g., “I have the ability to recognise and reward my colleagues” 60.4% → 94.9%; teamwork 54.0% → 85.0%; clarity of company mission 77.9% → 94.0%), demonstrating clear impact from Reward Gateway’s solution.
