Insurance company launches effective communications strategy to engage 95% of staff and increase Glassdoor rating

AutoProtect, an insurance company with 171 employees across 2 locations, was facing high staff attrition, few existing benefits, and poor internal communications. It worked with Reward Gateway to build a communications programme around its “The Store” benefits platform, with the aim of improving awareness, registrations, and employee engagement.

Reward Gateway helped AutoProtect launch The Store through flyers, emails, posters, and in-person demos, along with employee discounts, Holiday Trading, and other staff benefits. On launch day, 123 users created live accounts, equal to 96% of registered staff, and engagement has stayed at or above 95% of eligible staff; staff have spent over £77,000 through the platform and saved 7.2% of that amount. AutoProtect’s Glassdoor score rose from 2.3 to 4.5, and staff attrition fell from 21.5% to 14.75%.
