How leading furniture retailer Sofology engages more than 70% of a dispersed workforce with a seamless benefits experience

Sofology, one of the UK’s leading sofa retailers, needed a colleague benefits platform that was easy to access, simple to scale, and engaging for a workforce spread across 47 locations. The company wanted a better way to support benefits, discounts, and company-wide initiatives for more than 1,200 colleagues, many of whom do not use a computer in their day-to-day roles. Sofology first approached Reward Gateway in 2013 after previous providers fell short on support, campaign ideas, and personalization.

Reward Gateway implemented a tailored platform with employee discounts, wellbeing content, Cycle to Work, and SmartTech™ to suit different colleague groups and digital comfort levels. The result was 840 active users, or 70% of the workforce, more than £450k spent through the platform, and £30.9k in employee savings, with £144k spent through SmartTech™ alone.
