How Golden 1 Credit Union uses Reward Gateway’s employee recognition platform to embed an “attitude of gratitude” throughout its workforce

Golden 1 Credit Union worked with Reward Gateway to create a central employee recognition hub that could support its “attitude of gratitude” culture across headquarters, branches, home loan centers and other locations. The credit union wanted to increase engagement, strengthen peer-to-peer recognition, and give employees more redemption options through an Amazon integration while reducing time spent on administration.

Reward Gateway built a tailored platform called Golden Spotlight to house Golden 1’s recognition initiatives, including eCards, Instant Awards, and real-time feeds. In 18 months, Golden 1 converted 88% of its 2,200 employees into active users, sent 31,300 eCard recognitions since March 2022, and issued more than 3,200 Instant Awards.
