Symbio, a global telecommunications provider with 400+ employees across five locations, needed a better way to keep its newly remote workforce informed, connected, and supported during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company faced the added complexity of communicating across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, U.S., Canada, and Singapore while maintaining morale and business continuity. Reward Gateway’s employee engagement platform, Launchpad, was already in place before the pandemic.
With Reward Gateway, Symbio created a COVID-19 information hub on Launchpad, used blog posts and surveys to improve employee communications, and expanded reward and recognition with eCards, the Wellbeing Center, and $75 vouchers for all employees. The platform helped reduce inbox noise, centralize health updates and remote-work information, and support peer-to-peer recognition. Over the past three months, employee views and interactions increased significantly, 5.4k eCards have been sent since launch, and 54% of employees are actively using the platform.
