St. James’s Place Wealth Management engaged Reward Gateway to modernise and centralise its employee benefits after a 5% drop in benefits satisfaction and inconsistent, hard-to-find communications across 26 locations and nearly 2,000 employees. The firm needed a flexible, device-accessible hub to refresh its rewards offering and make benefits easier to access for existing staff and prospective hires.
Reward Gateway delivered the My Rewards portal with new branding and a focused three-week communications launch (teasers, KitKats, streamed demos and personalised emails). Adoption and engagement rose sharply: 71% of employees registered within a week and 97% are registered to date (96% active); within nine months employees spent £390,400 on discounts saving £33,200; the Cycle to Work scheme attracted 39 sign-ups (£28,700 value) with employees saving £8,600 and the company saving £4,000 in NI; and the Buy Holiday scheme saw 327 participants (£223,900 spend), saving employees £67,200 and the company £30,900 in NI — employees report rewards are now much easier to find.
