Rexel, an electrical distributor with 3,017 employees across 250+ UK branches, faced low awareness and engagement with its existing recognition program. Working with Reward Gateway to refresh its employee recognition and communications platform, feedback revealed managers weren’t using the tool, employees didn’t know it existed, and multiple internal banners needed a single, cohesive brand identity.

Reward Gateway relaunched the platform with a new brand, an interactive social wall and a Valentine’s Day launch where every employee received a tailored, branded eCard to drive awareness and manager-led recognition. The results were fast and measurable: within about six weeks 67% of employees were engaging with the platform and staff had sent more than 800 peer-to-peer eCards.
