Digestive Health Associates of Texas, a 500‑employee healthcare group with 60 offices, faced disconnected staff who had little to no access to email during the workday, low participation in recognition programs, and a need to streamline communications to reduce turnover and improve morale. To address this, Digestive Health Associates of Texas partnered with Reward Gateway to roll out a centralized employee engagement platform called Digest This! that would better connect dispersed teams and centralize news, policies and HR information.

Reward Gateway’s Digest This! brought together employee communications, peer‑to‑peer and manager recognition (eCards on a social recognition wall), surveys and an employee discounts program to boost morale and appreciation. Since launch Reward Gateway’s platform has driven 706 blog views and 894 total page views, 149 peer‑to‑peer eCards and 49 award nominations in the first month—enough nominations to move from quarterly to Employee of the Month—while extending discounts to hundreds of national retailers and providing ongoing survey feedback to improve retention.
