Marine Federal Credit Union, a banking and finance organization with 243 employees and 13 locations, needed a better way to reach a hybrid workforce spread across North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. Internal communications were inconsistent, silos were growing, and leadership could not easily see where great work was happening across the credit union. As it also worked through a brand refresh, MFCU turned to Reward Gateway to create a centralized, branded employee platform.
Reward Gateway helped Marine Federal Credit Union launch The Wire!, an employee engagement hub for recognition, communications, discounts, surveys, and benefits information. The rollout included peer-to-peer eCards, employee spotlight stories, awards, and a structured blog strategy, and the results included 94% of employees receiving recognition in the first year, 57% of recognition coming from managers, 2167 eCards and awards sent, 3,375 reactions, 1k comments, 188 blogs published, and an eNPS increase from 60 to 65.
