AXA transforms company culture with perks and employee recognition

AXA, a global banking and finance firm with 10,000 employees, wanted to transform its culture by putting employees at the heart of the business and creating a consumer-grade, mobile-first experience that consolidated dispersed perks, recognition, and HR apps. To deliver a single branded hub called Mobile AXA (“MAX”) and relaunch its recognition strategy, AXA partnered with Reward Gateway to provide an employee engagement platform with mobile access and recognition features.

Reward Gateway implemented the MAX platform, redesigning AXA’s recognition program with responsive software, seasonal eCards, peer-to-peer “Thank You” messaging, and manager monetary awards redeemable with a wide retailer selection. Within six months the solution reached 95% employee registration, generated 7,500 peer “Thank You” messages, saw managers send over 2,500 monetary awards (totaling more than $58K redeemed) and drove 16,000 visits to recognition pages, contributing to AXA’s Engagement Excellence 2016 win.
