A Restaurant365 Case Study
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, founded in 2005 and now operating 27 locations across eight states, struggled to manage inventory, wine costs and back-office accounting using QuickBooks. QuickBooks also lacked an interface to their MICROS POS, forcing manual updates and extra labor. To address these challenges, Cooper’s Hawk turned to Restaurant365 and its back-office and inventory management platform.
Restaurant365 replaced QuickBooks, integrated with the MICROS POS and automated POS-to-accounting flows, enabling theoretical vs. actual cost tracking and end-to-end inventory control (from vineyard to bottle). The system was live within two months and fully adopted within a year, with roughly 30 users; Cooper’s Hawk reports a 3% improvement in cost of sales, reduced administrative labor, faster new-unit openings and clearer financial visibility. Restaurant365’s solution delivered measurable cost control and operational scalability for Cooper’s Hawk.
