A Victoria State Government office that appoints and manages community volunteers faced a fragmented, paper-heavy process: volunteer data was scattered across spreadsheets and an in‑house database, creating duplicate records, data integrity problems, no reporting capability and time‑consuming manual workflows. The office needed a single case management solution to capture appointment, performance and cessation information, record complaints, automate processes, generate reports and integrate with other systems.

Resolve Software Group built a Volunteer Management System on its Resolve Enterprise platform, comprising Applications, Complaints and Titles modules with rules‑based workflows, batch processing and ad‑hoc actions. The solution provides a central repository, automated bulk processing, standard and ad‑hoc reporting, and integrations with the Volunteer Availability System and TRIM. Launched in August 2014, the system eliminated paper reliance, reduced manual effort, improved data integrity and visibility, and enabled KPI tracking and easier information sharing.
