Travis Perkins, one of Britain’s largest builders’ merchants with 650+ branches and over 100,000 product lines, wanted to grow its high-value VIP customer base and boost customer lifetime value. RedEye was engaged to apply AI-driven predictive analytics and a VIP predictive model on the Travis Perkins database to identify customers most likely to become VIPs and to inform targeted marketing.
RedEye implemented Predictive Models that analysed transactions and real‑time website engagement and used its integrated platform to deliver personalised, multi-channel messages. The result: the VIP proportion rose from 3.2% to 5.3% (about a 65% increase), customer lifetime value grew 34% in 12 months, the overall database value increased by over 86%, likely-VIP customers saw lifetime value rise 198%, and average spend increased by £194 per identified customer.
