Buyagift wanted to increase revenue and customer engagement by targeting customers based on their online behaviour. RedEye delivered a behavioural email marketing programme using Buyagift’s data feeds and website tags to trigger tailored messages at each stage of the customer lifecycle (welcome, browser/basket/checkout abandonment, follow-ups, product review and reactivation).
RedEye implemented the suite along with data analysis and contract rules to manage frequency, producing an abandon-basket ROI of 11,101% (last click) with a 25% conversion rate, a 53% average open rate and 29% click-through rate. Behavioural emails now represent ~3% of email volume but generate ~35% of email-driven revenue, and RedEye’s analysis has enabled finer targeting and reduced unsubscribe risk.
