Clifford James, part of the BVG-Airflo multi-channel retail group, faced high levels of online basket abandonment and needed better insight into customer behaviour to improve conversion and sales. RedEye integrated web analytics with targeted email marketing to run an abandoned-basket campaign—sending an initial follow-up one day after abandonment and a 3-day reminder with a 10% discount—using in-house segmentation and ongoing support. The campaign delivered strong results: a 678% ROI for Clifford James with a 70% open rate, 36% click rate and 10% click-to-order conversion; across BVG sites RedEye also drove a 20% improvement in deliverability, 16% increase in click-throughs, a 10% rise in average order value and 154% uplift in email-generated revenue.
