Lenovo Achieves Digital Transformation with Red Hat Openshift Container Platform

Lenovo, the global technology manufacturer, needed to accelerate its digital transformation and support rapid application development as part of its Internet+ strategy. To meet this challenge, Lenovo turned to Red Hat and used Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform as its Platform-as-a-Service foundation to improve agility, cloud capability, and DevOps collaboration.

Red Hat implemented Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform to automate deployment and unify Lenovo’s development and production environments. The result was major efficiency gains: system launch time dropped from about one week to just minutes, deployment and iteration became faster and more consistent, and Lenovo improved productivity and time to market while strengthening its competitive position.
