Finding the right match while respecting candidates’ privacy

Finnair, a network airline with about 5,500 employees flying between Asia, Europe and the US, faced the dual challenge of screening large candidate volumes efficiently while maintaining strict candidate data privacy under GDPR. To streamline early-stage recruitment and protect applicant privacy, Finnair partnered with Recright and adopted its video interview platform as part of their hiring process.

Recright’s video interview solution was rolled out across roles and teams, enabling controlled access to candidate recordings, better assessment of presentation, personality and English skills, and faster initial screening. Using Recright, Finnair conducted about 2,800 video interviews for Cabin Crew and has filled close to 100 open positions via video recruitment since 2014, while ensuring compliance with their strict data-privacy requirements.
