Pela, the eco-friendly phone case brand, needed a way to scale sales, increase repeat purchases, and turn fans into engaged members despite limited in-house development resources. To launch their membership program, the Collective, Pela partnered with Recharge to implement a subscription-based solution that would make joining and managing memberships seamless.

Recharge enabled the Collective’s $4.95/month membership (30% off orders, $5 credit, priority access and members-only products) and supported partnership promotions with Save the Waves and Surfrider Foundation. The results: over 7,000 new subscribers in the first two months, 60% of subscribers still active after seven months, and a 50% increase in six-month LTV versus non-subscribers — helping Pela stabilize revenue forecasting and grow lifetime value.
