Lovevery, a startup that creates expert-designed baby play kits, needed to move from a single-SKU Shopify store to a subscription-based business without rebuilding their site. To add recurring billing and subscription management that would integrate cleanly with Shopify, their team selected Recharge as the vendor to handle subscription capability.
Recharge was integrated (with implementation support from Gunpowder Labs) and customized via Recharge’s API to handle Lovevery’s unique needs—shipping tied to a child’s birth date, paid-upfront vs. pay-as-you-go plans, and one-year auto-cancellation. The result: roughly 4,000 new subscribers in three months, negative net churn, monthly attrition under 5%, and nearly 2,000% projected growth by year-end, enabling fast time-to-market and steadier recurring revenue for Lovevery.
