AAA increases customer engagement, doubles click-through rates

AAA, North America’s largest motoring and leisure travel organization, wanted a better way to make email communications stand out in members’ inboxes and drive engagement and sales. With a small two-person marketing team, AAA Ohio lacked the resources to quickly build personalized email campaigns or maintain ongoing communication through its preferred channel.

AAA Ohio worked with RealTime Email, using LiveForecast functionality from Liveclicker, to add real-time weather comparisons and other personalized content to campaigns such as Great Vacations Travel Expo and Travel Destinations. The Great Vacations Travel Expo campaign increased click-through rates by 8-10 percent over expectations, and the Travel Destinations campaign delivered a 31 percent increase in click-through rates, which was double the average for similar campaigns.
