A Rasa Case Study
Dialogue, Canada’s leading virtual health care platform, needed a way to scale patient intake without sacrificing care quality or introducing bias as demand grew. To address this challenge, Dialogue turned to Rasa to automate the patient evaluation process and gather key medical information through a conversational assistant before connecting patients with the care team.
Using Rasa NLU and Rasa Core, along with the Rasa action server and an extended Form Policy, Dialogue built a multilingual assistant that supports English, French, and German and integrates with existing systems and external services. The solution standardizes intake, removes human bias from early evaluation steps, and lets patients complete assessments anytime, anywhere in just a few minutes on average, helping medical staff focus on higher-quality, evidence-based care for more patients.
