Ann Summers, a multi-channel women’s retailer (Party Plan, Retail and eCommerce), migrated its affiliate programme to Rakuten Advertising to accelerate online sales and revenue. The brand’s goals were to grow affiliate sales and traffic by 20%, recruit high-performing publishers, and reduce internal resource needs while diversifying its partner mix.

By moving from a self‑managed model to Rakuten’s fully managed service, Rakuten took over campaign strategy, publisher recruitment (including innovative tech and card‑linking partners) and ongoing optimisation using CPA and tenancy tactics. In the first month post-migration Ann Summers saw +59% sales growth MoM and +60% traffic MoM; four new partners now drive £1.5M YTD (39% of revenue), with cashback, voucher and loyalty partners also contributing meaningful shares of total revenue.
