How Daily Harvest’s AI digital guide nourishes customer satisfaction

Daily Harvest, the New York–based meal kit delivery service, faced rapidly growing customer conversation volume and needed a digital support solution that could reflect its values—authentic, empathetic, and personalized—while also feeding data and analytics. To solve this, Daily Harvest partnered with Quiq to create Sage, the company’s first AI digital guide.

Quiq built Sage using a phased, NLP-driven approach with extensive testing and rollout, plus the Quiq reporting platform to capture transcripts and insights. The implementation drove measurable impact: a 6 percentage-point increase in customers using chat, up to 60% containment of agent-handled conversations, a 10 percentage-point improvement in precision, consistently high CSAT (above 95%), and more than 1,000 food recommendations delivered—freeing care associates for complex 1:1 support.
