Northern Beaches Council, the local government for Sydney’s Northern Beaches formed in 2016 and serving around 250–266k residents, needed a scalable survey platform to collect community feedback, build targeted stakeholder datasets, run frequent internal reviews, and produce varied reports — all while preserving corporate branding, supporting many users, and hosting data outside the US.

They implemented QuestionPro in 2018 (Team Edition) and upgraded to a Research Edition in 2021, gaining unlimited surveys/users, a branded subdomain, advanced reporting (cross-tabs), and analytics like Max‑Diff and sentiment analysis. With onboarding and training, the council produced clearer questions, richer data and more compelling findings valued by leadership, enabling expanded qualitative research and better-informed community decision‑making.
