A Qualtrics Case Study
Philip Morris International (PMI), a leading global tobacco company selling products in over 180 markets, needed a flexible, user-friendly and cost-effective way for people managers worldwide to gather anonymous multi-rater feedback on managerial effectiveness. Existing solutions were expensive, inflexible and time-consuming to administer, and assessments had previously been limited to higher-level employees.
PMI implemented Qualtrics 360 to build FeedbackME, a customizable multi-rater platform based on PMI’s Leadership Attributes that lets HR run surveys and generate confidential individual and summary reports without external support. The solution was rolled out in four months in 16 languages, cut evaluation time by 75%, reduced costs by 90% versus custom tools, and expanded multi-rater assessments to roughly 10,000 managers globally.
