A Qualtrics Case Study
The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, supported by Lab Manager Jasmine Kwong and Prof. Nicholas Epley, needed a more capable survey platform for behavioral experiments and student research. Their studies—such as experiments on gender stereotypes in social intelligence—were constrained by SurveyMonkey’s limitations, time-consuming pencil-and-paper workflows, and a non‑intuitive MediaLab.
Booth adopted the Qualtrics Research Suite university‑wide, using its intuitive interface, survey flow to manipulate conditions, centralized management for 200+ surveys, and easy survey reuse and student onboarding. The change reduced infrastructure costs, eliminated manual tabulation errors, improved graduate student productivity, and provided accessible training via Qualtrics University tutorials.
