A Quadient Case Study
Impact, a print service provider that handles critical document communications, direct mail, digital delivery and fulfillment, had been running a version of Quadient Inspire purchased six years earlier. Falling so far behind on upgrades left Impact unable to leverage new omnichannel and social‑media features, forced developers into repeated hotfixes and time‑consuming workarounds, and created hidden operational waste and compliance risk.
Working with Quadient, Impact implemented a repeatable upgrade program for Quadient Inspire: they built a focused regression test suite (25 representative WFDs from roughly 200 in production), created obfuscated test data, ran parallel-version comparisons, and adopted a seasonal cadence with training and automation. The Quadient-supported approach eliminated many workarounds and hidden factories, normalized production output, improved floor‑level quality and user engagement, shortened conversion cycles (30–60 days for test updates), and enabled Impact to move toward seamless omnichannel delivery and measurable marketing ROI.
