Essent N.V., part of innogy SE and serving 2.5 million electricity and 2.2 million gas customers across the Netherlands and Belgium, faced data-quality challenges across a contact base of 1.5–4 million records. To validate and improve contact data and to tackle identity resolution and duplicate detection, Essent engaged Quadient and adopted the Human Inference Data Hub.
Quadient implemented the Human Inference Data Hub to clean, consolidate and resolve identities in Essent’s database; after evaluating vendors including SAP, Essent reported measurable benefits from Quadient’s solution: reduced data processing time and costs by 10–25%, increased revenue and customer satisfaction by 10–25%, and a reported 10–25% decrease in retention rate.
