Abnote Helps Brazilian Bank, Bradesco, Engage Customers

The customer, ABnote, a secure document printer, partnered with vendor Quadient (via its GMC Inspire solution) to address a challenge faced by their client, Bradesco bank. The bank sought to make its customer communications more effective and differentiate itself by adding targeted promotional messages to transactional documents like credit card statements.

Using Quadient's GMC Inspire software, ABnote manipulated formatted AFP data streams to add full-color, targeted messages to statements without needing to reprogram the bank's IT systems. This solution allowed ABnote to launch a successful pilot to 20,000 customers in just 90 days, subsequently adding one million more customers to the program within two months. The results were so positive that Bradesco's management was very pleased and planned a full rollout to its entire customer base.
