Sheba Medical Center, Israel’s largest tertiary referral and research hospital, serves over a million patients with about 4 million visits annually. After more than two decades on a legacy scheduling system, the IT team sought a modern solution (rule-based scheduling, role-based access, flexible calendars, team/personal views, modern UI and continuous customization) but found existing products inadequate — so they turned to Q-nomy.

Q-nomy implemented a customized Q-Flow platform following process analysis and pilots in Gastroenterology and Ophthalmology, then rolled it out to 100+ units. The deployment combined advanced appointment scheduling, patient flow/queuing, personalized brochure-on-demand and a drag-and-drop OR scheduler. Results included high user satisfaction, reduced administrative workload, better control of calendars and resources, expanded use beyond clinics, and plans to broaden Q-Flow’s role in Sheba’s IT roadmap.
