Durham College, a growing educational institution serving 8,400 full-time and 3,600+ part-time/apprenticed students, needed a better way to manage student services and reduce the strain of its in-house student flow project. After challenges building its own solution, Durham College turned to Q-nomy and its Q-Flow platform to support its expanding service needs across multiple campuses.

Q-nomy implemented the solution in three phases, adding self check-in kiosks, receptionist functions, calendar booking, digital signage, audio announcements, SMS, online booking, web check-in, and full database integration, plus additional deployment at the Whitby Campus. The result was streamlined student flow to service desks, reduced unnecessary wait times, and a better overall student experience, with Durham College also noting Q-Flow’s functionality, ease of use, and scalability as it added new agents and departments.
