How ViaVan Enables Fast Driver Onboarding With Qminder

ViaVan, an on‑demand transportation provider, faced slow, manual driver registration and onboarding using a custom Google Form that didn’t integrate with their driver database, couldn’t capture visit reasons, guide drivers, or measure visitor time and agent performance. To solve this, ViaVan chose Qminder’s digital queue management system to modernize check‑in and onboarding.

Qminder enabled iPad check‑ins, two dedicated queue lines, lobby screens, and a direct link to ViaVan’s Driver Partner database so agents see driver details instantly; new drivers also attend a training video session. The Qminder solution cut visit times significantly, removed manual data entry, provided real‑time tracking and built‑in reporting for agent performance and growth insights, and improved both driver onboarding speed and overall visitor/employee satisfaction.
