A Qmatic Case Study
The Belgian city of Ninove needed a way to manage arrivals, waiting, and multiple vaccine lines safely at a temporary COVID-19 vaccination center. To minimize crowding and support social distancing, Ninove turned to Qmatic, using Qmatic Orchestra to organize citizen flow in a location not originally designed for public service queues.
Qmatic implemented Orchestra Journey Management with two Intro 5+ self-service kiosks, plus ticket printing and TV call displays connected through a media hub. The setup made check-in and line routing clear for visitors and staff, controlled patient flow, and kept the process efficient and safe; the center could handle up to 1,000 vaccinations per day, with visitors knowing where to go and staff able to manage the system easily.
