Improving patient experience in tallinn children's hospital

Tallinn Children’s Hospital, the largest children’s hospital in Estonia, renovated its trauma room and polyclinic waiting area and wanted a more child-friendly way to manage patient flow. In partnership with Qmatic, the hospital sought a solution that would make waiting less stressful and better suited to young patients.

Qmatic implemented a unique queue management system using Qmatic Orchestra, self-service kiosks, and digital signage, with 50 playful images printed on tickets and shown on wall screens. The result was an improved patient experience for children and young people, with a queue system that helps children follow progress more easily and distracts them from pain.
