Case Study: Lenovo achieves rapid, organization-wide sales insights and operational efficiency with Qlik

A Qlik Case Study

Preview of the Lenovo Case Study

Lenovo uses Qlik in multiple departments to increase organizational efficiency

Lenovo, a $40+ billion global technology leader with more than 50,000 employees, needed to better operationalize its departments—especially Sales and North America Operations—to identify trends across geographies and move beyond slow, spreadsheet-based reporting after acquiring new business. The challenge was consolidating disparate data sources and giving managers and sales reps timely, actionable visibility into pipeline health and account performance.

Lenovo implemented Qlik to merge Salesforce, SAP and legacy spreadsheets into a single associative engine and built several apps now used by about 400 employees. The result: weekly Qlik snapshots replaced cumbersome executive reports, load times dropped from 45–60 minutes to under a minute, teams can analyze nearly a million rows quickly, and apps (including historical trend analysis) improved visibility into account growth and quota performance.
