A QLess Case Study
Broward College, serving more than 67,000 returning students, struggled each term with long lines for financial aid, registration and advising that left students frustrated and staff overwhelmed. The college wanted to reduce wait times while also gaining better data and insights to improve service delivery across campuses.
After a successful pilot, Broward implemented QLess campus‑wide so students can join virtual queues via on‑site kiosks, staff tablets or a mobile app and receive text updates before their appointment. The change dramatically reduced physical lines, allowed services to continue during a student‑information outage, and produced analytics that help the college plan staffing, track advising trends and focus on student success.
