Genghis Grill, a 57-location Mongolian Concepts restaurant brand, faced low loyalty participation (under 10% active members), a POS-based program that was cumbersome for staff and guests, and a confusing dashboard that limited visibility into customer behavior. They partnered with PAR Punchh to implement a mobile-first, omnichannel loyalty strategy, leveraging Punchh Acquire (eClub), Punchh Loyalty with Offers, a branded mobile app and web channels, plus integrations with POS (Aloha) and online ordering (Olo).
PAR Punchh migrated 1.2 million guests to its marketing cloud, launched the new app and site with SSO, and enabled targeted offers and automated journeys. The result: within six months participation surpassed industry averages, offer redemptions increased 90%, loyalty check-ins rose quarter-over-quarter, app downloads and eClub sign-ups ran 8,000–10,000 per month, and Genghis Grill achieved its fifth straight quarter of sales growth.
