Blaze Pizza Drives 41% Increase in Participation with Mobile Loyalty Platform

Blaze Pizza, a fast-casual chain with 340+ locations, faced the need for a modern branded mobile loyalty app, better access to customer data, and a more flexible, engaging rewards program to boost frequency and sales. In 2018 Blaze engaged PAR Punchh to deliver the Punchh Loyalty and Engagement Platform, including a branded mobile app, eclub, targeted offers, and integrations with Olo (online ordering), Aloha POS, and SendGrid email.

PAR Punchh implemented the Punchh Loyalty solution with app functionality, segmentation and targeting, and contactless features during the pandemic, plus campaigns like the reconfigured Pi Day promotion. The results were significant: 1.8 million loyalty members, 1.4 million eclub members, a 27% year‑over‑year increase in loyalty visits, a 57% YOY loyalty participation rate, and 200,000 app user acquisitions during March 1–14 from the Pi Day campaign.
