Virgin Hotels Group’s Virgin Limited Edition (VLE) needed to replace its aging SunSystems 4 finance system because it was difficult to use, limited in analysis fields, and lacked standard reporting. The team also wanted better payment processing, bank reconciliation, workflow, document attachments, and reporting capabilities, and they selected PS Financials after reviewing several alternatives.

PS Financials implemented a unified-ledger finance platform for Virgin Hotels’ estate, with support for standardised chart of accounts, automated recharges, online payments, automated bank reconciliation, invoice image attachments, and improved inquiry/reporting tools. The rollout covered multiple locations and currencies, and VLE said PS Financials was much easier to use than its previous system, reduced manual work, and improved flexibility; the company has already implemented it in Kenya, Switzerland, the British Virgin Islands and the UK, with more planned.
